There are two conservation areas within Bardsey, the larger area comprises the core of the village whilst a smaller area is present at Rigton Bank.
In 2009 Leeds City Council published a detailed report on the conservation areas – known as the Conservation Area Appraisal
And Management Plan it contains a wealth of information and is approved as a material consideration in the determination of planning decisions.
